SFW: Helen Lee

On October 22, 2012 by Hart

Shanghai’s fashion darling – who has a streamlined, smart boutique on Fumin Lu – Helen Lee presented her energetic show last night. Models walked out to the song Beatific by Glass Candy, a song that could be classified similarly to the clothes: electro-pop. Helen reworked 2012/2013 trends – neon pastels, metallics, bomber jackets and the key silhouette of crop top + pencil skirt – into something all her own, stamping it with her signature playfulness and sporty edge. I especially loved the outerwear, which Susie Bubble described to me after the show as, “lace trapped in plastic.” Susie Bubble and street style photographer Phil Oh were in attendance to support Helen and Elle China editor, Leaf Greener, who styled the show with her charming, fun touch.
